The new SZX2 stereomicroscope series is the result of our engineers’ steady pursuit of ultra-refined Galilean optics - the industry standard optical system for advanced stereomicroscopy. The SZX2 lineup is designed to increase contrast and resolution for obtaining the highest image quality during macro observation at low magnification, as well as optimum resolution at high magnification. Enchanced versatility is assured by the world’s highest zoom range and increased focal depth.

SZX7

In operation and optical performance, the SZX7 is designed for ease of use and working comfort in every task, from routine preparations to advanced research. Its Galilean optical system, previously restricted to more specialized microscopes, offers one of the best zoom ratios in its class as well as outstanding image clarity, true color and accurate reproduction of the original specimen in crisp, well-defined detail. System modularity and abundant accessories also ensure quick and easy system adaptation for specimens of any type and size.

SZX10

The new SZX10 is designed for routine research. It offers a high numerical aperture (NA) of 0.2, producing a resolution of 600 line pairs per millimeter. With this resolution you can work more efficient, more precise and gain much more information from your samples. The SZX10 provides a zoom ratio of 10:1. With the common objective design it is a fully modular system offering a range of options.

SZX16

The new SZX16 is designed for advanced research and has a maximum numerical aperture of 0.30, producing a resolution of 900 line pairs per millimeter. The SZX16 provides the largest zoom ratio of any stereo currently (April 2006) on the market 16.4:1. With this zoom ratio combined with a series of parfocal objectives (0.5x,1x,1.6x & 2x) the SZX16 can take you from macro to micro viewing.

SZ61

The standards set by the new SZ61 and SZ51 are a revelation. The newly developed “Comfort View” eyepiece design and the accessible, responsive controls make operation easier and less fatiguing than ever before. The compact design, incorporating the Greenough optical system, delivers excellent flatness and ample depth of field as well as clarity, detail, and accurate color.
